Friday's journal.

Friday, Wayne and I went to my hometown! It was really nice showing him around a little bit.

My parents were out of town, so we went to my house to check on the cats and take care of the mail. My first item I bought from the NieNie Benefit Sale had come--a Nie print!

I feel so blessed to be able to have this small part of her. I'm not even going to try to explain how amazing this woman is, because there is no way I could possibly do her justice. Just please visit her blog, you will be SO thankful you did! And please remember to pray for her and her family. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I know that the Nielson's really need your prayers (cjane has updates on how their family is doing on her blog).

After looking around my hometown a bit more, we headed back to Nuggetville to get some yummy cheap Chinese food.

And what did we do after that? Why, another Wal-mart visit, of course!

Wayne bought me a few new items for my knitting collection...

...More knitting needles, a yarn-holder-thing (I can't remember what it was called :) ), and some yarn. I promise the yarn does not look like something that I ate for lunch came back up! Wayne picked it out, and it's actually really pretty. I'm making a simple washcloth with it, and I'll post a picture of it so you can see how pretty it really is.

XOXO

Hi Jenn! I saw your site link on the "my charming kids" 1 million hit post! Way to go :). I was just wondering if you might be able to share the secret of this fabulous background with me? I have searched and searched, and sites are really tough to find good backgrounds on--can you help? I will check back in hopes that you posted a hint in the comments section of your blog in response. But I know how time goes, so no worries if you are unable to :). Thanks!

Veronica,
The background was actually made by my sweet friend, Morgan. She used the Silhouettes For Nie DigiKit. you can find it here...
