Hello!

I'm sure you all have heard the ice cream truck driving around, playing that hypnotizing tune. You know the one: the one about some old man with a funny name who owned a farm, and the sounds his animals make. Yeah, that one.

The other day, as I was walking around the neighborhood in the blazing heat, that song crept into my mind. I was hallucinating! I passed out and woke up in the gutter.

Okay that didn't really happen.

So as I was walking, that song began to mock me. Have you ever noticed how it mocks? Well it does. So it was mocking me as I walked, and all of a sudden the truck came into view. Then it stopped by some children (who were surely also mocking me), and over the loud speaker came a friendly "Hello!"

Now this was not just any plain 'ole "Hello," this was the friendly, confident "Hello" of a school teacher on the first day of school. I was shocked! I was sure the ice cream man who came through our neighborhood was just that, a man. And a creepy man at that! Could it be a friendly lady in that ice cream truck?!

I looked inside the truck. Sure enough, it was the same creepy man.
