Irish Blessing Song

{Taken the during Wayne's visit last October}

During the years I spent in middle and high school
, I was greatly involved in my church's youth choir. We didn't have the best choir director (I hope she doesn't read this!), so we sang a lot of the same songs over and over. One such song (which I believe we actually sung the most of all), was the Irish Blessing song. In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I thought I'd share it with my readers, who are such a blessing to me :)

The Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon you fields.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,
until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

PS: Aren't you glad I didn't actually sing for you?!

PPS: I'm making St. Patty's Day cupcakes today, so check back for pictures :)
