Day 3: Wayne's Visit

Sunday was Fast Sunday. Which is not evidenced by the following photos. I'm new to this concept, but basically what I get from it is that we fast our first two meals of the day in order to receive guidance from God and be able to pray more effectively for others. Also, you give a fast offering which consists of the money you would have spent on the two skipped meals, and this goes to those who are in need.

We attended the ward that Morgan's family attends (it's also the one I would be assigned to). It was very nice to have Morgan's family to help get us through the services. I loved it. I also loved being there with Wayne. I fell in love with Wayne about ten times more during those three hours we spent in church together.

Afterward, we broke our fast at Five Guy's. I know this kind of breaks the rule about not spending money on Sunday, but I'm new at this, okay?! Wayne loved it, which was good. Although he is still reluctant to admit that it was better than McDonald's (can you say stubborn?!).

Later, we baked a cake!
