Did you know?

I was just looking at marriage laws for Georgia and came across two surprising facts:
  1. In Georgia, it is still legal to marry your cousin. Not sure how this compares to other states, but this really surprised me.
  2. In Georgia, if an underage girl is pregnant, she does not need her parents' permission in order to get married, but they will be notified after the marriage license is issued. Not sure how I feel about this one.
Other than that, the Georgia marriage laws are pretty confusing. I guess getting married may be a little more complicated than I thought...

I've heard about those laws, but I always thought that they were just jokes. That's pretty crazy.
