A Perfect Day.

Wayne arrived yesterday a couple hours earlier than I was expecting him, so I rushed to the airport to see him. We met at the same spot we met last April first, and hugged for a long time before heading back up to my college. Once we'd gotten everything sorted up in Nuggetville, we had a quick meal at Wayne's favorite place--McDonal's.

This morning I learned that my only Thursday
class was cancelled (how perfect?!), so we decided that we would have a lovely day downtown on the square. Wayne actually really seemed to enjoy the antique shops (surprising for a man, I know!). We looked around at the biggest antique store I've ever seemed for what must have been over an hour. Wayne even insisted that we look through the entire store. We also looked at a glass blowing shop that has some seriously beautiful stuff, including the most bautiful piece of blown glass art I've ever seen...

Isn't is absolutely gorgeous?? Of course, the pictures don't do it justice, but I really think it is one of the most perfect gifts I've ever gotten (the only reason it's not
the most perfect gift is because Wayne always picks out really perfect gifts for me--I'm a very lucky girl!). I also found a really pretty green colored t-shirt for Wayne to take home as a souvenir. Next, we headed across the street to a cute little Italian restaurant and has an amazing meal. And of course, after that, I had to treat Wayne to some yummy fudge from the fudge shop a few doors down.

It really has been the perfect day, probably the best day I've had since the last time he visited. And we've got so many more
perfect days to come. Like I said, "I'm a very lucky girl!"
