On a Friday with Wayne.

I'm writing about what Wayne and I do each day while he is here because I want to be able to read this later and remember how wonderful it was.

It started out not-so-well with a really hard precal test, but I actually think I did pretty well on it. While I took the test, Wayne waited for me in the student center. I couldn't wait to go see him, and when I finally got back to him I was so happy I couldn't stop smiling! It was so nice to see my Wayne sitting there waiting for me.

Next, we went to Rite Aid and picked up some supplies for the week. I got some Mucinex for my sinuses. Wayne is so cute about it, too. He makes sure I take it every 4 hours and gets me some water to take it with. While I was waiting for it to kick in, I took a nice long nap. The medicine really helped a lot and I feel sooo much better now.

When I woke up, I was really hungry, so Wayne went and got us some food from next door. Then we both got ready to see a movie.

I had been wanting to see Nights in Rodanthe, so we saw that. It was really a very sweet movie. Very sad, but very good. I don't want to ruin it for those of you who still want to see it, but I would highly recommend it. I absolutely
love seeing movies with Wayne at the movie theatre, it's so nice to be able to lay my head on his chest and feel his arms wrapped around me as we watched the happy scenes, love scenes, and sad scenes. He was even sweet enough to buy us a HUGE bowl of popcorn and some drinks. He would have gotten us some candy, but I told him we should just eat the fudge that I had bought for us the day before, and that did the trick.

Once the movie had finished, we decided to go to a nearby store to see if we could adopt a new betta fish. I was so happy to see that the Wal-Mart Supercenter near the movie theatre did in fact sell betta fish. Most of them were red or dark pink. There was even one that was white. But the most beautiful of them all was the only blue one of the bunch. We looked at all of them, but we both knew that the beautiful blue betta was ours...
I wanted to name him somehow after the movie that we had just seen, so Wayne and I came up with naming him Rodney. I think it's a really cute name for a fish-- Rodney the Fish.

We finally brought him to his new home and got him settled with some fish food to eat. He seemed to be resting at the bottom, but Wayne was very worried that he was stuck, and insisted upon reaching his hand into the bowl to "rescue" Rodney. When he did so, Rodney got really scared, and Wayne says Rodney bit him (I'm pretty sure that was not the case, but who knows? Only Rodney, I guess).

It was another perfect day, and I'm so happy I got to spend it with the man of my dreams (and my reality!).
