Saturday was another amazing day with my Wayne.
Wayne had been wanting, since his last visit, to go to the Gold Museum in downtown Dahlonega. I was somewhat hesitant to go before, but I thought it would be something nice for us to experience together. I was really happy that we went to see it, even though it wasn't the most interesting museum I've ever been to (and I really haven't been to many museums I would describe as interesting), I believe both Wayne and I learned a lot from the video that they showed about the early years of Georgia. I'm pretty sure Wayne really enjoyed it, too, which was my main motive for going.
After the museum, Wayne and I decided to eat lunch our Italian restaurant again. I suggested we get lasagna since he had never tried it before. I told him we could share it (like we normally do whenever we eat the same thing at a meal), but when we went to order, our waitress told us that it was too small to share. So we both got our own portion and, although the lasagna was absoblutely delicious, neither of us could even eat half of it before we were full! I guess we should go with our instincts next time and share. At least there are left-overs, I guess!
Once we had finished lunch, we explored more of the square that we didn't get to see Thursday afternoon. We even found a little funny gift for Wayne's mother. It's a little keychain with a monkey that has the cutest little behind ;) I hope she thinks it's funny, too. Wayne said that's the kind of gift that she likes. We also found a little golden cut-out of GA in an antique store that had a little sticker on it that said "take home the state of Georgia." Wayne really seemed to like it, and I really wanted to buy it for him since he's bought me so many nice things and he rarely ever seems interested in buying anything for himself. I told him that he can keep it next to his bed and he'll always remember where his Home is.
We then went to my dorm room because we needed to do laundry. While we were waiting for the clothes to wash and dry, I made us some dinner and we watched Pretty Woman on tv. It was a nice ending to another perfect day with my favorite man.
