I took this photo on Easter Sunday with the full intention of posting about these shorts. [Yeah, I just admitted to taking pictures for the sole purpose of blogging, so what?] However, as I looked through my picture files, I felt pretty silly when I came across it.
I guess sometimes, I just let my emotions get the best of me. Can you believe I allowed myself to sulk on Easter when I should have been celebrating, all because of these little pink-and-green shorts?! Yeah, neither can I.
So I'm not going to get into the whole story, but I still wanted to post this. I wanted to post this picture to remind myself that I should not let my emotional baggage get the best of me. I should not let someone else's actions [especially if they were not intentionally hurtful] ruin my day.
That being said, I will get those shorts back! And you can bet I'll post a picture when I do.
