I got my first award!
What? What's that you say? It wasn't a fair award because I got it from Wayne, who also happens to be my boyfriend?! Okay. Maybe. But it's still exciting.
I do want to thank my sweet Wayne for choosing me as one of the recipiants of the Honest Scrap Award. This award comes with the condition that I must tell 10 deep dark secrets about myself.
It's really much harder than you'd think to come up with 10 interesting things about myself. Here's my attempt...
The summer after kindergarten, I feel out of bed, knocking off and breaking a snow globe from the bedside table. I then stepped on the broken glass, and cut my foot badly enough to require a midnight trip to the hospital and 7 stitches. That's the only time I've ever had to get stitches, thankfully.
The summer before kindergarten, we were in the process of having a house built for us, but our old house had already sold. Luckily, many people from our church were willing to let us house-sit while they were on summer vacations. Unluckily, one of the houses we stayed in had a bad roach infestation problem. To this day, I won't eat anything that the owners of that house bring for church gatherings.
I've always wanted to be a teacher. I can remember when I was little playing school with my friends instead of playing house.
Despite the fact that Wayne lives all the way over in England, I've never even been out of the United States (unless you count Puerto Rico, which I don't). Wayne always come here to see me. However, one day I will go there to see where he grew up and just walk where he walks and see what he sees. This is one of my dreams, and I know it will come true one day soon.
I've only ever held hands with one man. Yes, you read that right. Wayne is the only man I have ever held hands with. Or kissed, for that matter. Oh, but that is another story for another post...
I forced Wayne to start watching episodes of Sex and the City with me sometime last year, and he now loves it as much as I do. Oops, I guess that one was more about Wayne!
Okay, so I realize that was only 6 things, but the list was just getting way too long. If any of yall really want to hear 4 more random things about me, just ask! If not, we'll leave it at that.
I'm going to cheat on the "passing of the blog award," too. Sadly, I'm new to the bloggy world, and don't yet have 7 people I would feel comfortable giving this award to. So instead, I'm going to link to some blogs that I really enjoy vistiting and that you all should definitely check out, too!
