Honor Them Thursday

Today, I want to honor my Granpap.

My Grandpap used to run the Peachtree every single year, until his knees got too bad to run. I've been training for this same race, and let me tell you, it's not easy peasy. Even now, he is one of the most active 70+ year-old man I know. My grandma and my grandpap walk almost every night together, and I think that's amazing.

He is also a very loving and caring person. He'd never admit that he loves animals, but you can often find him in the basement, studying the Bible with a cat on his lap.

I really feel so lucky to have my Grandpap in my life and love him very much.

It's official!

I'm all signed up for the Peachtree Road Race!!

It's exciting, and scary at the same time.

I'm confident, and motivated.

The more I walk, the more excited I get.

Soon, I'll be looking like this again...

...scared as can be, before the race...

...and happy as can be, afterwards.
