HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WAYNE

Saturday, February 14, 2009

Without you, I would be one sad little puppy.

All day long, I dream about you.

You are the one I will forever give my heart to.

Never will I ever let you go.

Even Eternity does not hold enough time for me to show you just how much love I have for you.

Wayne,

Do you know what you mean to me;
That you're everything that makes up my world?
Do you know how much love I have for you;
That it could never run out if I lived a million lifetimes?
Do you know how much I miss you;
That my body aches for your embrace?
Do you know what I would give up for you;
That I would give my very being to protect you?
Do you know how I yearn for you;
That I long to feel your lips pressed against mine?

Do you know what you mean to me?

Tribute Tuesday.

Every Tuesday, Wayne hosts Tribute Tuesday. To see more tributes, visit his blog.

The first time I participated in Tribute Tuesday, I did a silly little tribute to Wayne. Now that I've done a couple more tributes, I think it's about time I do my sweet Wayne justice with another one.

Wayne,

I could look into your eyes 'til the end of time, and into Eternity. I know that's cliche, but with you, it's true. Just looking at you is intoxicating. I try desperately to memorize your face each time I'm with you. I want to remember every curve, every scar, every inch of your face.

That moment when I saw you in the airport for the first time, it was just like something out of a movie. It was as if everyone else in the busiest airport in the world just disappeared, and suddenly it was just you and me. And then, oh then! Then you gave me my very first kiss. I wondered if you could feel me shaking from how nervous and excited I was at that moment. I'll never forget that.

There are so many "firsts" I've experienced with you [don't worry, everyone, our relationship is rated PG]. As I've just mentioned, you were the first man I kissed, the first I ever even held hands with. You were the first man I've actually enjoyed seeing a movie with. You were the first man I've ever been to church with. You were the first man I ever [almost] went to a concert with. You were the first man I ever snuck out the back of the concert hall with to go run to our car in the rain. You were the first man I kissed in the rain. You were the first man to ever sing to me as we danced in the rain. You're the first, and only, man I've ever loved.

Your heart is the biggest of any man I know. Your love is the purest and sincerest I've ever felt. You mean the world to me, Wayne.

I love you more than you could ever know, and I will for all time.

Tribute Tuesday

My adorable Wayne came up with this idea to pay tribute to one of your favorite people/things each week. So I figured I should start out with a tribute to Wayne, since he wrote a very sweet one for me.

The following is a conversation we had via text last week. I think it pretty much sums up our relationship.

Wayne: I'll be right back, I have to poop.
Me: Okay...
...2 minutes pass...
Wayne: I'm back.
Me: That was really fast!! [It usually takes him like half an hour.]
Wayne: I pushed really hard.

Honestly, that is one of the things I adore about our relationship. We can be silly or goofy or just plain gross, and we're just so comfortable with each other. This is the kind of relationship I've always wanted, and I feel indescribably blessed to have found a man who I can just completely be myself around.

So this is for you, Wayne, the best man I know.

[See, I didn't even put the thing in about the incident with the ruler!]

Letters to Wayne.

Prologue: While Wayne was here in October, we made a pact that we would write letters to each other every day until we were together again. I don't believe Wayne has missed even one single day. However, I have not been as consistent. Since I didn't write a letter to Wayne for a couple days in a row this week, I decided I deserved some sort of punishment. I decided humiliation on my own blog would work. {By the way, Wayne took the beautiful picture above.}

Original Post from Our Blog:

Wayne~
I told you I was going to make a poem out of this...so here goes...

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne,
You are my vein.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne,
You take away all my pain.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne,
You never give me shame.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne,
Soon we will share a last name.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne,
I will always love you babe.

There's your lovely little poem. I hope you like it, even though you are SO MUCH BETTER at writing poems than I am.

I love you so much,
Jenn

Postlude:
Was that embarrassing enough to be a punishment? I think so. I just hope it didn't scare anyone off...

Time for a Change.

Okay, so Wayne and I have come to the decision that it is best if we continue our letters to each other on a separate blog.

However, this blog will be open to invited readers only.

Thanks,
Jenn

Letters to Wayne.

Wayne,

Here's your letter in pictures...

This tree is such a pretty color. It's sort of a lime green. I love it.

I thought the leaves on the ground looked sort of like candy corn.

This is the tree that shades the pathway to the steps that lead to the parking lot. Every time I walk under it, I think of you.

Remember when we ended up in the cemetery?

I think this is one of my favorite pictures that I got. Aren't the colors just beautiful!?

Lime green tree again :)

The Gold Steeple Building.

I wish I could have gotten a better picture of this tree. It is just so magical in person.

This is the place we're going to have our picnic. I thought you might like to see what it looks like in Autumn.

I think this picture turned out really cool.

This picture isn't particularly attractive, but I just think this place is so funny with its giant chicken statues :)

Cute house.

Interesting church building.

...and we're getting closer to home...

My parents' birthday gift to me finally came...

It was a bit too small (fat wrists, I know!), but I took it apart and remade it to fit. I just added these clear crystals, and it's perfect!

I was so proud of myself for learning how to make the bracelet, that I rewarded myself by making this necklace!

When I came back in my room, I found this sitting on my bed...

I would say she's not really that evil-looking in person, but then I'd be lying.

Love you!
Jenn
